Romney Health Care Plan Nearly Doubles Family Insurance Costs: Study

Hey genius...ya you! Here's what you said: "We'll all be dead anyway according to Lyin Obuyem if Romney gets in, dirtier air, dirtier water, poison em all, no safety net, people can just rot in the streets for all he cares" Then you went on to say: " Obama actually tells people that goofball slime on the campaign trail about Romney."

Let's have some fun brother...it's put up or shut up time...

Post it! Post those comments where Obama said those things!

On no, now he's telling us how to post.

Laughable.

Me thinks you've watched way too much Fox News, spent too many hours in front of the monitor geting breitbarted.

No problem bro; it'll be over soon, Romney will go back to laughing all the way to the bank and you all will be crying in your beer. Obama will be pres and the idiot right wingers in Congress will have to get off their lazy a$$e$ and have to actually represent the poeple who sent them off to DC (for a change).

Doc...btw, are you coming to the after election get together?

Now see, this is what i'm talking about. That kind of comment makes it sound like you just may be taking this all too personal. Of course i'll have to check and see if this bill guy would even come. Funny, i think he took it all personal and most likely wouldn't show.

BTW, i'm still waiting on my bro j4 to post those comments he claims Obama made.

Doc...giving thanks everyday

Now that 'personal' thing is a 2 way street. Good luck checking with him as he was booted before you joined the forum and everyone claims to not be Bill ;-).

2 excellent points you call attention to 2cents:

1)  There are uninsureds in MA, just as it is projected there will be 30 million uninsureds in the US even after full implementation of Obamacare.  So your point is?

2)  In spite of Obama's pledge to lower family healthcare costs by $2,500 by the end of his first term we now learn that family annual premiums are up by $3,000.  Oops, a $5,500 miscalculation?

Health Premiums Up $3,000; Obama Vowed $2,500 Cut

During his first run for president, Barack Obama made one very specific promise to voters: He would cut health insurance premiums for families by $2,500, and do so in his first term.

But it turns out that family premiums have increased by more than $3,000 since Obama's vow, according to the latest annual Kaiser Family Foundation employee health benefits survey.

Premiums for employer-provided family coverage rose $3,065 — 24% — from 2008 to 2012, the Kaiser survey found. Even if you start counting in 2009, premiums have climbed $2,370.

What's more, premiums climbed faster in Obama's four years than they did in the previous four under President Bush, the survey data show.

There's no question about what Obama was promising the country, since he repeated it constantly during his 2008 campaign.

In a debate with Sen. John McCain, for example, Obama said "the only thing we're going to try to do is lower costs so that those cost savings are passed onto you. And we estimate we can cut the average family's premium by about $2,500 per year."

At a campaign stop in Columbus, Ohio, in February 2008, Obama promised that "We are going to work with you to lower your premiums by $2,500. We will not wait 20 years from now to do it, or 10 years from now to do it. We will do it by the end of my first term as president."
